Permit to Busk
Busking in the City of Ballarat requires a Local Law Permit
Permits cost $6 and are valid for 6 months.
Please ensure you are familiar with the City of Ballarat's busking guidelines before making an application

Permit to BurnYou must not, without a permit, burn outside, or cause, or allow to be burnt outside, any materials, whether in the open air or in any built or manufactured incinerator or similar device. The burning of commercial or industrial waste is not permitted.

No permit is required if you're using a properly constructed barbeque or fireplace for cooking or heating, or for burning off within the farming and rural living zone or where the property exceeds two (2) hectares in area.

Please register your burn-off with ESTA on 1800 668 511 and notify your neighbours. An authorised officer may still direct the fire to be extinguished if it is deemed to be causing a nuisance.

Please allow a minimum of 2 business days for your application to be assessed.

All businesses offering these services must be registered with the Council in which their business operates.
