Local Law Permits
Permits to Burn not issued during the Fire Danger Period.
City of Ballarat's Fire Danger Period began Monday 25th November 2024. Permits to Burn cannot be issued during the Fire Danger Period unless it is for the purpose of broad-acre burning of stubble and grass for farming purposes. Contact the City of Ballarat's Fire Prevention Officer for more information on 5320 5500.
 
Permit to Busk
Busking in the City of Ballarat requires a Local Law Permit
Permits cost $5 and are valid for 6 months.
Please ensure you are familiar with the City of Ballarat's busking guidelines before making an application
